I always enjoy using folk art as a subject for my puzzles as it brings me back to an earlier America, reminding me of a time when personal treasures were hand made from wood. Essentially, this connects me closer with my interest in cutting old-style, wooden jigsaw puzzles.
The top of the puzzle has an irregular border along the horizon to add a bit more challenge to the assembly, and to add attractiveness to the puzzle when completed.
This picture shows where the Figurals and Picture Elements are hiding out. There are sheep grazing in the fields, cows and other farms animals, children playing on a stone wall and many butterflies scattered about various floral gardens.
In the foreground of the puzzle is a quaint store named "The Tin Rabbit," which sells items left to the viewers imagination. Noop and Schmoo, my two bunny Figurals seem very interested...
The beautiful day has everyone in a happy mood! Children Figurals play happily, balancing along an old stone wall, while another climbs a nearby tree.
The Wandering Urchin appears to have just come back from adventure on the open seas!

Baaaaa!! Baaaaaa!! Baaaaa!!
Butterfly Figurals often welcome themselves into my puzzles wherever there are flowers. With all of the flower boxes and gardens in the painting, I was constantly seeing wings flutter by!

Out in the distant fields, Buff enjoys an afternoon spooking the cows....

....while a nearby farmer walks his horse in from pasture.
And it's never too early to hunt for nuts!
Here are a couple interesting Picture Elements which came out of the puzzle. It was a real challenge cutting out the little birds on the birdbath!
